Meet Alex & Kadi Mahundi
Alex and Kadi Mahundi are the founders of TruHaven In-Home Care and share a passion for serving people, strengthening families, and building meaningful relationships within their community. Together, they bring decades of leadership, caregiving, healthcare, and service experience that form the foundation of TruHaven’s commitment to exceptional care.
Together, Alex and Kadi founded TruHaven In-Home Care with a simple mission: to provide compassionate, trustworthy, and personalized care that allows seniors to remain safe, independent, and comfortable in the place they call home. They believe that exceptional care begins with meaningful relationships, understanding each client’s unique needs, and treating every person with dignity, respect, and compassion.
As lifelong servants of their community and proud Nebraskans, Alex and Kadi are excited to bring TruHaven’s values of Trust, Relationship, and Understanding to seniors and families throughout South-Central Nebraska. Their vision is to become the region’s most trusted home care partner, helping older adults thrive at home while providing peace of mind to the families who love them.
Alex Mahundi
Alex has spent more than 16 years leading organizations, developing teams, and serving communities through business, nonprofit, healthcare, and ministry leadership. He holds a bachelor’s degree from Fort Hays State University and is currently completing his MBA with a concentration in Healthcare Management. Alex served as an Executive Pastor and Community Outreach leader at Trinity Church for more than eight years, helping families, developing leaders, and fostering partnerships that strengthened the community.
He also served as a District Manager for an in-home care agency, where he oversaw operations, caregiver teams, client services, and community partnerships across multiple service areas. A graduate of Leadership Kearney Class of 2015, Alex is known for his servant leadership, strategic vision, and passion for helping seniors and families thrive.
